During the Calgary Stampede time, 70 aspiring artists from across Canada ages 13 to 21, of all performing disciplines, were invited to the Talent Search competition to show their best performance. The contestants perform during the Calgary Stampede. Each evening featured junior performers ages 6 to 12. They were invited to participate in exactly the same manner as the older performers in order to further showcase and develop southern Alberta’s youth talent. Sylvia Lee, Kaitlyn Ho and Vanessa Wang were luckily selected as performers and winner.
2014 Calgary Stampede Talent Search
During 2014 Calgary Stampede Talent Search, Sylvia Lee was selected as one of seventy artists to perform in the Calgary Stampede and got into the semi-final of the competition. Kaitlyn Ho was selected as one the junior performer to perform on the semi-final night.
Sylvia was invited to perform on the Window on the West stage in 2014 Calgary Stampede.
2017 Calgary Stampede Talent Search
Kaitlyn Ho was selected as junior performer to perform on a Stampede Talent Search competition day.
2018 Calgary Stampede Talent Search
During 2018 Calgary Stampede Talent Search, Kaitlyn Ho was selected as one of seventy artists to perform in the Calgary Stampede and got the 4th prize in the competition.
2019 Calgary Stampede Talent Search
During 2019 Calgary Stampede Talent Search, Kaitlyn Ho was selected as one of seventy artists to perform in the Calgary Stampede and got the 2nd prize in the competition. Vanessa Wang was selected as one the junior performer to perform during the competition.
